Primary education goes a long way in a building a child’s future. We run a BMC aided, Hindi medium Primary school to give less fortunate children from the neighboring slums, an access to quality education, mid-day meals and many other facilities at no cost at all. From free textbooks and notebooks to 2 pairs of uniform shoes and bags, the Mandal takes care of all the overheads beyond the government aid. We also facilitate free pick up & drop bus service to encourage poor laborers to send their children to the school regularly; instead of engaging theme as child labour.
Over 100 students enjoy all-round learning at Adarsh Vidyalaya every year. The curriculum includes social values, cultural celebrations and extra-curricular activities such as picnics, competitions, sports day and annual day just like private school . Free health check ups and special coaching in English and Computers are also organized. Moreover, students are also guided with secondary school admissions after clearing 4th standard to encourage uninterrupted schooling. Adarsh Vidyalaya has contributed to the bright future of over 7000 students over the years, since 1964. Many of these students have grown up to be successful teachers, engineers, TV anchors and entrepreneurs today.
